Parker CPI Single Ferrule Tube Fitting, NPT Female Connector, 1/4 in. Tube OD x 1/2 in. Female NPT, 316 Stainless Steel
Sometimes the port is male and you need the fitting to be female. The Parker 4-8 GBZ-SS brings 1/4 in. tube onto a 1/2 in. female NPT connection, so you thread the fitting over a male nipple or a valve stem instead of hunting for a reverse adapter.
Female connectors show up constantly on valve outlets, manifold ports and instrument stands built with male stubs. Having the right one on the shelf saves you from stacking a coupling and a nipple to reverse the thread, and every joint you avoid is a leak you never have to find.
